Skip has more than Buddy Bugs to help him on his journey. Sometimes he will see butterflies that he can jump into and pop, which yields one of five surprises:
Flight Berry:

These give Skip more flight power. |
Health Berry:

These give Skip more health. |
Shield Seed:

Grab this and Skip will be invincible for 15 seconds. |
Buddy Bug:
 |
Skip can have no more than ten of these at any given time. Buddy Bugs follow him around until he launches them at his enemies. |
Free Life:
 |
An extra life is always helpful. |
In addition, there are ways Skip can earn more than the 15,000 points he gets when he successfully completes each level:
Green Clover:
 |
Since Sally the Chipmunk usually only needs one acorn before she’ll give you what you need, break open the others and you’ll find green clovers in some of them. They’re worth 175 points each. |
Blue Clover:
 |
There are four of these hidden in each level. If you collect all of them, Skip earns 20,000 bonus points. |
Gold Clover:
 |
You’ll really need to search hard to find all of these clovers as there are only four of them in the entire game. If you collect all of them before you win, Skip will get 250,000 extra points. |
Mouse:
 |
Skip earns 425 bonus points for each mouse he rescues. |
